“Other”、“The Other”和“Another”的巧妙用法

“Other”是一个非常通用的词汇，表示“另一”、“另一些”。它既可以作为主语、宾语，还可以作为定语，为句子增添更多元的内容。比如：“Some girls are singing under the big apple tree while others are sitting on the grass talking.”（有些女孩在大苹果树下唱歌，其他的则坐在草地上交谈。）

而“another”则有着“又一个”、“再一个”的含义，暗示着数量的增加。比如：“You have had several cakes. Do you really want another one?”（你已经吃了好几块蛋糕，真的还要一块吗？）或者“I want another four books”（我还要四本书）。
